True discipleship demands faith that exceeds what you can see or prove. If your current situation doesn't require faith, you're not aligned with God's will. The speaker urges listeners to embrace impossible challenges and trust God's power over human strength.
If where you are doesn't require faith, you're not in the will of God. We desire certainty, but God requires faith. God will always require that you reach at least just a little beyond what you believe is in your ability to do. When you walk by faith, you exchange your limited ability for God's unlimited power, your inconsistent strength for God's divine life and energy, your doubt for God's certainty. To walk in faith is to walk according to what God has said rather than by what you see. Does it look impossible? Good. Do you feel like you've done all that you know to do? Good. Now put your faith in God, and when the miracle finally comes, you'll know exactly who deserves all of the glory.
