You need to come back to your Heavenly Father. He's been looking for you. You say, I, I've messed things up bad. I've wasted so much time. I've done so much wrong. I don't know if I can come back to God. You may say, well, I've never really even known him. What do you mean come back to him? Who do you think created you? You may say, well, I have so many questions, like why does God allow suffering in this world? And why is there cancer? And why doesn't he just reveal himself in the way I think is the most convincing? And why are there so many religions? My friend, bring your questions to Jesus. Just come home. Yeah. You may say, well, I don't know if I can do that. I'm— I don't really consider myself religious, or How can I go to church and feel like I'm one of them? I don't feel like I'd ever fit in. I feel like I would mess everything up. I can't in my mind conceive of how I would be a Christian because I don't think I have the strength. Bring your insecurities to Jesus. You say, well, I'm— I don't understand. I've gone through so much. So many people did so much wrong to me. I've been abused. I've been taken advantage of. I've been lied to. I've been rejected. I carry so much anger in my heart because of what people have done to me unfairly. I've had a hard life. Bring your anger to Jesus. You might even be saying, David, you don't know what I've done. I've done some horrible things. I've thought some horrible thoughts. My past is filthy. Can God, can God really clean someone like me? My friend, I don't know what you've done, but I know what Jesus did for you. Amen. He gave His life on a cross. There is no sin so dark. Please hear me. There is no sin so dark that his light cannot shine through. There is no sin so filthy that his blood cannot cleanse. You are not so far that he cannot reach you. Just come home. Bring your mistakes to Jesus.
