Many Christians don't realize that the Holy Spirit has feelings. The Holy Spirit is grieved when God tells us to do something and we don't do it. When God says, don't do that, and we do it anyway. When God says, don't go there, and we go there anyway. The Holy Spirit is patient and kind and loving and merciful and gracious, and he's humble and he helps you and he's friendly and he's there for you. And yet time after time, day after day, we ignore what he's trying to say to us.
