Keep praying for people who resist the gospel, even when they seem hardened. What's impossible for humans is possible for God. The Holy Spirit is working to convict and soften hearts, sometimes through dreams and circumstances, so don't give up.
Maybe you're praying for your son or your daughter. You're praying for your parents, maybe a close friend or relative. God wants to use you. And God has called us to be shining lights, to reach out to those who are hurting. And I'm with you. I know that sometimes when people harden their hearts, it can become discouraging. And you might look at the situation, you might look at the person you're praying for. Even now, as I'm talking, if you're thinking of a particular person or a group of people that you've been praying for for a while, or maybe they just seem so resistant to the gospel. Every time you bring up the scripture, maybe there's an argument, there's tension. They're so resistant that you're beginning to doubt they can ever really be saved. Listen, what's impossible for man is possible with God. And so I want to encourage you, have faith. See through the lens of truth. Look through the lens of Scripture. As stubborn as they may seem, as hard as their heart may seem, believe for their salvation. Even as you share, they might be resisting, but you don't know what God's doing in their heart. How do you know that they're not having dreams? God is speaking to them as they sleep. How do you know that the sin in which they're participating isn't becoming more and more convicting as the Holy Spirit turns up the fire of conviction? Conviction on their heart? How do you know that they're not just weeks away, days away, hours away from receiving the Lord? In fact, you may get a call this week. You might get a text before the day is over. We just don't know. That's the kind of hopefulness we have to approach this topic with. But ultimately, it's going to be the Holy Spirit who does it. He's going to have to work on their heart. So go to him and say, Holy Spirit, work on them, soften their heart, put them in the right place at the right time with the right people under the Right circumstances with the right attitude and move on them. Draw them to you. Don't give up on them. Keep praying.
