In this brief sermon, the speaker warns that fear has become a counterfeit Holy Spirit within the contemporary church. He argues that while darkness and evil are perennial, the church’s current "theology of escape"—a mindset of fleeing from spiritual conflict—has replaced the biblical "theology of dominion," which calls believers to assert Christ’s victorious rule. Citing Matthew 24:14, he emphasizes that the gospel must be proclaimed worldwide before the end comes, urging the church to adopt a fearless, expansion‑focused posture rather than succumbing to panic. The message concludes with a rallying call for a bold, conquering church that trusts in Christ’s victory over the devil.

Pay attention. Fear has become a counterfeit Holy Spirit in the church. Yes, the world is dark. Yes, the days are evil. But that's always been true. What's changed is our perspective. We've adopted a theology of escape instead of a theology of dominion. We fear the devil more than we trust Christ's victory. But the early church didn't cower, they conquered. Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world, And then the end will come. Not fear, not retreat. Preaching, expansion, and glory. Don't mistake panic for prophecy. The future belongs to a fearless church.
