In this sermon, the speaker asserts that faith plays a significant role in divine healing, while also emphasizing that lack of healing is not always due to insufficient faith. He cites Scripture to show that unbelief can block miracles, even limiting Jesus’ ministry when people lack belief. The speaker warns against self‑deception, noting that people often mistake emotion, worry, or superficial confidence for true faith. He calls listeners to honest self‑examination to discern genuine faith from doubt, stressing that doubt is a real barrier to healing but not the sole explanation for every unhealed case.

It takes faith to be healed, generally speaking. The Word of God teaches us that faith is a factor in healing and that doubt can sometimes prevent the healing from taking place. Am I saying that that's always the case? Certainly not. Am I saying that every time someone's not healed, it's 100% because they don't have faith? Absolutely not. And am I saying that if you have faith, You can force God, therefore, to perform the miracle on your terms? No. But it's also true that the Scripture clearly tells us that unbelief can block the miracle. Even in the case of Jesus, I want you to think about that. Jesus walked in the will of God unto perfection. Jesus never said anything sinful, never thought anything sinful, never did anything sinful. Yet even Jesus, the Son of God, was limited in what he was able to minister because of the unbelief of the people. Now you might hear some say, well, I did have faith, but I still wasn't healed. Well, let God be true and every man a liar. Sometimes we think we have faith, but we don't. Sometimes we think we've got rid of the doubt, but we didn't. Sometimes we think we're standing firm on the Word, but we aren't. We're doing it based on emotions. Or maybe what we think is prayer is actually just worry, and we become confused about how we're approaching God, and we give ourselves more credit sometimes than we deserve. I'm not saying this to be cruel, but I am saying this to present the biblical truth that sometimes you are blocking your healing because you doubt. Doubt is a factor. We cannot deny the biblical truth here.
