A sermon on stewardship as active discipline, not passivity. God favors order and excellence, not chaos or laziness. When you treat every task as done for the Lord and steward your mind and work wisely, you become a vessel for God's blessings.
Part of being a good steward is working diligently. Stewardship isn't passive. It requires focus, discipline, and intentional effort. Stop drifting through life without focus and intentionality. Apply your mind, use your time wisely, and approach every task as if you're doing it for the Lord himself. Don't settle for just busyness. Aim for fruitfulness. God doesn't bless chaos or laziness. He blesses order, excellence, and fruitfulness. When you steward your mind and your work well, you become a place where God can put increase.
