The world is filled with violence, uncertainty, and sickness. If you're not careful, fear will consume your heart before you even leave out your front door. But Psalm 91:9-11 says, if you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you. No plague will come near your home. Now, that's not a promise that hardship will never come. It's a promise that even in difficulty, God will cover you. Fear looks at danger and panics. Faith looks at danger and says, the Lord is my refuge. So stop letting worldly propaganda or negative people set the tone for your day. Run to God first. Pray, Lord, you are my high tower. Keep me under your wings today. Fear has no hold when you know who your protector is.
