In this sermon, the speaker urges listeners to trust that God’s promises are unbreakable, even when apparent obstacles block the way. Using the biblical accounts of Jericho’s walls and the Israelites’ crossing of the Red Sea, the speaker illustrates how God creates unseen pathways and fulfills His covenant regardless of human doubt or circumstance. The message emphasizes that God’s plan is already set in motion, encouraging believers to adopt a faith‑filled perspective that sees the promised outcome before it manifests, rather than fretting over current challenges.
Chapters
God made a promise to the children of Israel that they would possess the land, but standing before them were the walls of Jericho, preventing them from entering what God had promised to give to them. And tonight, maybe you find yourself in that sort of a situation— the promise of God in your heart, the miracle that you can see off in the distance, yet something in the way that seems to be preventing you from stepping into what God has promised. Let me assure you You, my friend, that if God promised it, it's as good as yours. Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters, a pathway no one knew was there. This, of course, is another reference to the children of Israel. They had just come out of captivity in Egypt, were approaching eventually what would be the Promised Land, when suddenly they find themselves before the Red Sea. Pharaoh changes his mind, sends his armies to attack them, and now they're stuck between an army that wants to kill them and a sea that cannot be crossed. The scripture tells us that God, even in that moment, saw a pathway that no one knew was there. You may be fretting and worrying. You may be wondering how it could possibly all work out, but God already sees how it's going to be done. You may be wondering if it's all going to pan out in the way that you want it to pan out, but God already has a plan that's been set in motion. If we can look into the spiritual realm with eyes of faith, we would see the plans of God already fulfilled, only believe.
