It's as simple as making time for the word of God even though you just wanna rush through your day. It's as simple as forgiving that person who offended you even when you wanna hold that grudge, telling the truth when you wanna tell a lie. It's as simple as stepping out in faith and doing what God said to do, even when it feels safer to just settle where you are. Simple acts of obedience. It's not glamorous, it's not super deep, it's very simple. Surrender is not an emotion, it is obedience to God's word and the voice of the Holy Spirit.
