The Holy Spirit knows all words and motives, even when you're not there. If you feel uneasy around someone, that's divine discernment, not paranoia. Trust that warning and create distance without needing proof.
Chapters
You may smile with them, laugh with them, even pray with them, but the Holy Spirit knows what's said even when you're not in the room. He hears every conversation. He sees every motive. And that discomfort that you feel when you're around certain people, many times that's not paranoia, that's discernment. You don't always need the proof. You don't always need to catch them in the act. So if the Holy Spirit is warning you, that's evidence enough. Sometimes God spares you from heartbreak by whispering, step back now, create some distance. So don't argue with Him. Don't justify what He's already exposed. If the Holy Spirit is uncomfortable with someone's presence in your life, why should you be comfortable with it?
