The Holy Spirit generates everything in prayer: the desire to pray, the words, the faith, the persistence. Prayer isn't something you do through effort. It flows from union with the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit generates everything in prayer: the desire to pray, the words, the faith, the persistence. Prayer isn't something you do through effort. It flows from union with the Spirit.
Prayer ultimately relies upon the Holy Spirit. The desire to pray, the power to pray, the grace to persist in prayer, the faith for prayer, even the words to pray. All of that begins in the Spirit. You're not relying upon your own ability to pray. You are relying upon your union with the Holy Spirit, and out of that union flows true prayer.
