Chapters

Filled with anger and self-righteous zeal, Saul went on a crusade against the followers of the way. He was determined to stop the movement started by Jesus of Nazareth. On his way to persecute the early Christians, Saul was confronted by God himself. A bright light appeared before him. It was the Lord Jesus. Jesus said, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?" In that single moment, Saul was transformed. The light of the Holy Spirit exposed him and changed him. His name was changed from Saul to Paul. And Paul became an apostle, writing a large portion of the New Testament. When the light of the Holy Spirit shines on you, even your deepest, darkest flaws are exposed and then transformed. Never underestimate the power of an encounter in God's presence. One moment in the presence of the Holy Spirit can transform your life.
