Satan makes lies believable by using your current circumstances as proof. A book endorsed by the New York Times sells better; an athlete's partnership boosts an unknown brand. The enemy works the same way, using your situation and feelings to endorse his falsehoods.
The enemy uses our circumstances and emotions to bolster the believability of his lies. Just like if a first-time author is endorsed by a New York Times bestselling author, it could skyrocket book sales. If an athlete signs on with some clothing brand that is just unknown at the time, then their endorsement of that clothing brand will help them to sell more of those clothes. In the same way, the enemy uses your circumstances and your emotions to endorse his lies.
