Here's how to become a man or woman of prayer. Number 1, schedule your day around prayer. You can accomplish more in a prayer-filled day than you can in a prayerless week. If you're too busy to pray, you're too busy. Number 2, say no to distractions. While rest and recreation aren't evil unto themselves, in fact, they're necessary, I want you to consider the possibility that maybe you spend too much time on frivolous things. Then cut them out of your daily life. Number 3, go by faith, not feelings. Some days you won't feel like praying. Some days you won't feel like God wants to talk to you. Some days you'll feel too ashamed to approach the throne. That's why you shouldn't pray depending upon how you feel. You should pray depending upon your faith in the truth of what God's Word says.
