Satan's first move in Genesis 3:1 wasn't denial but doubt: questioning whether God really meant what he said. The same tactic works today, sowing confusion about Scripture's meaning until believers disobey. Study the Bible carefully to defend yourself against it.

Did God really say? That was Satan's first tactic in the garden. He didn't deny God's word; he questioned it. Genesis 3:1 says, "Now the serpent was more crafty. He said to the woman, 'Did God really say you must not eat from any tree in the garden?' The enemy still uses this tactic today. He plants doubt in your mind, not by removing Scripture, but by twisting its meaning. He'll whisper, "Are you sure God meant it that way?" So be on guard. You must study it to divide it rightly. Truth misused. Confused becomes deception. If the enemy can get you to question God's Word, he can eventually get you to disobey God's Word. Subscribe for more teaching like this.
