The Holy Spirit affirms forgiveness and declares you a child of God. Satan accuses, insisting your sin remains and you're still a sinner. Learn to tell the difference between the comforting voice and the condemning one.
The voice of the Holy Spirit says, forgiven. The voice of Satan says, it's still on you. The voice of the Holy Spirit says, you are a child of God. The voice of Satan says, you are still a sinner. The voice of the Holy Spirit says, it's under the blood. And the voice of the satanic tries to resurface it. Remember that it is Satan who is the accuser of the brethren.
