I remember years ago, I was able to cross off the last name on one of the prayer lists that I had for a group of friends of mine. And of course, you renew that list as you live life because you meet new people and so forth. But I'll never forget that when I was able to finally cross off the last name and I went down the list and I looked at all of the names and I could see that God had saved each one. And I'll be honest with you, there were times when I would look at that list and go, I don't think that's going to happen. But I kept faith. The Holy Spirit helped me to keep that faith. I didn't keep it on my own. It was His doing. He gave me the faith to pray for them, and He is ultimately the one who saved them. And so I rejoiced in crossing off that last name. And today they're in church, they're serving God, and I rejoice over that. But there was a time where I said, I just don't think this is possible. Or I would say, maybe, you know, we try to play God sometimes. I would go down that list and I would say, maybe this one, this one, and this one, But not this one or this one. Can I tell you, the ones that I was most skeptical about are the most on fire. What I mean by that is they're the most outspoken. They had the most radical turnaround. And that's what God can do. And so you and I must keep the faith when praying for loved ones. Keep praying for your spouse. Keep praying for your parents. Keep praying for your child. Keep praying for your friend, whoever it may be. No one is beyond God's reach. And there will be a day when you're rejoicing with them in heaven and where they're going to look at you and they're gonna thank you because you never stopped praying for them.
