A speaker urges you to stay focused on Jesus and your God-given purpose, even if that means outgrowing certain relationships. True friends will grow with you or step away. Don't feel guilty about distancing yourself from people who distract you from spiritual growth.
Chapters
Keep your eyes on the Lord. Keep your eyes on the divine dreams that God has gifted to you. Keep your eyes on your divine purpose. Keep your eyes on becoming more like Jesus. Keep your eyes on loving people around you like Jesus loved you. And set aside those relationships that are causing you to be so distracted that you feel like you're doing nothing but wasting time. It's not wrong of you to outgrow people. Don't feel guilty for improving yourself. Don't feel guilty for pursuing everything that God has for you, if the people around you truly care about you instead of just trying to get you to stay at their level, if they truly want to stay connected, there will be a point at which they have to decide, am I going to grow with you or do I need to separate? And you often need to initiate that. So perhaps the Holy Spirit is warning you about those who are distracting you.
