Chapters

In this hour of calamity, in this generation of wickedness and violence and hatred, we turn to you. Lord, we thank you that you are the high tower. You are the place of refuge and strength. And so, Father, we turn to you now in this hour of uncertainty. And Father, we thank you that we have no reason to fear. Stir our faith, Lord. Give us faith as your people that we may walk as children of light in this dark world, that that darkness would not affect our hearts and minds, but that we would trust you to protect us and to keep us centered in your will. Keep us safe. Keep us in your care. And we trust you even when trouble comes. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Say it again if you believe it. Say amen.
