A speaker challenges believers to stop doubting God and limiting Him to human understanding. He argues that what we call wisdom is often doubt, and balance is fear. He urges listeners to trust Jesus' promise that requests made in His name will be answered.
We serve a God who is able to do above and beyond what we can imagine, and we have to stop trying to bring him down to the level of our understanding. Again, we call that wisdom, but it's doubt. We call that balance, but it's fear. Some of you afraid to believe, afraid to get your hopes up, afraid to put your faith in God and be disappointed. Let God be true and every man a liar. It's time that we rebuke the doubt. And instead, stand firm on the words of Jesus: You ask anything in my name, I will do it. He'll perform it according to his promises.
