The veil between believers and Jesus has been removed, allowing you to see and reflect His glory. The Holy Spirit draws you inward, transforming you into a reflection of His light as you point yourself toward Him.
This is one of my favorite portions of Scripture, and I'll tell you why. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord, who is the Spirit, makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. This is one of my favorite portions of Scripture because it describes a deep spiritual reality regarding the Holy Spirit And us becoming like Jesus. The veil between you and the face of Jesus has been removed. I like to say it like this: inwardly, we point our hearts toward the presence of Jesus by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit reveals the glorious image of Jesus, and as you face him, you become like him. Jesus is the glorious light. To reflect him, we must face him. And when we face him, we become reflections of his light. Do you want to reflect him? Then by the Holy Spirit, just point yourself towards him.
