Jesus promised in John 14:12 that believers will do the same works He did and even greater ones, including casting out demons and healing the sick. The speaker says truly embracing this verse can dramatically boost your faith and activate God's power in your life today.
This one Bible verse boosted my faith, and I could have easily missed the powerful truth behind its simple words. Once you come to actually believe and embrace this truth, your faith will soar to new heights. I'll read the simple verse to you, and then I want to explain to you why this is so faith-stirring. Here's the verse, and it's a direct quote from Jesus himself. I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done and even greater works, because I'm going to be with the Father. Now, we can talk about the greater works another time, because there's a lot of debate about what those might be. But we definitely know what Jesus meant by same works. Here's why this is so powerful. Everything that Jesus was anointed to do here upon the earth, you and I are called to continue. Once you grasp this reality and allow yourself to believe it, your faith to cast out demons, heal the sick, and even raise the dead will be boosted. Type amen if you believe God still moves today.
