Every night when I'm putting my daughters to sleep, I lay hands on them and pray that they would draw close to God. That's something we need to be praying over our children, especially in these wicked times. Now, Moses said in Exodus 33:15, "If your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here." That's the heart you want for your family—that they would have a passion for God's presence above all else. Pray that they encounter God in worship, in prayer, in quiet moments, and even unexpectedly. Pray that His nearness becomes their greatest treasure when they love. His presence, everything else falls into place.
