A prayer asking the Holy Spirit to empower leadership, drawing on Numbers 11:25 where God gave the Spirit to seventy elders so they could prophesy. The speaker asks for strength, wisdom, and the ability to lead others the way God leads.
Numbers 11:25. Then the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke to him and took some of the spirit that was on him and put it on the 70 elders. And as soon as the spirit rested on them, they prophesied. Holy Spirit, I acknowledge that you are the appointing spirit, the one who empowers, separates, and raises leaders. Impart to me the strength and wisdom to lead. You have given to me all that I need to carry out the responsibilities that you have assigned to me. Help me to lead others as you lead me.
