A devotional prayer opening with Genesis 1:2-3, asking the Holy Spirit to move through darkness and fill every corner of life. The speaker invokes the same Spirit that hovered over creation to recreate and restore.
Genesis chapter 1, verses 2 and 3. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light, and there was light. Holy Spirit, thank you that you hover over even the darkness, partnering with God's authoritative word to bring forth light. I pray now that you would move upon my life and cause something to come from what seems like a void. Let your light fill every dark corner. Let your power partner with the Father's every promise concerning me. I believe you were the breath at the beginning, and I ask you to create anew in me.
