A prayer to the Holy Spirit asking God to deepen the congregation's prayer life and spiritual knowledge. The speaker thanks the Spirit for inspiring prayer and providing words, and asks for a tangible sense of God's presence.
Holy Spirit, I pray for your people even now. Take us to higher heights and deeper depths. Make us people of prayer. Make us people of the mountaintop. Let us see you. Let us know sides of you we've never known before. We want to know your nature, your mind, your power, your wisdom. And cause us to be more like you as we spend time with you. Amen. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for reminding us to pray, giving us the desire to pray, giving us the words to pray, and all of the strength you give us as we pray, causing us to focus and become more like you. Even now, let us sense your presence. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. And the church said— Amen.
