There is this misconception about the power of our words. And often the mistake goes something like this. Well, God has creative power. God the Son has creative power. And he said we can do the same works that he did. So surely we have the same creative power that he does. Not exactly. You and I don't have that ability. I'll prove it to you. I want you to speak an extra zero right now into your bank account and then go check that bank account. You can't by your own will cause something to immediately materialize I am not saying that your words don't have power. I'm saying the only time that your words have creative power is when they align with God's word for you.
