Now, I know that doesn't sound spiritual, but seriously, you have to calm down. Stop freaking out. You have to learn to trust in God's ability to get through to you. It's not that we're so good at hearing the Holy Spirit that we can now be confident. I mean, think about this. We're fallible. We have emotions. We have thoughts of our own. We can get all mixed up and tangled up in self. So we're not trusting in Our ability to hear the Holy Spirit, trusting in the Holy Spirit's ability to get through to us.
