When you say to the Holy Spirit, hurry up, you're really saying, I know better. We think that if God doesn't hurry this up, that we're going to miss the opportunity. And often we're rushing because we're comparing. They have the nicer things. They have the bigger ministry. They have the better position. They have the better connections. And we think in our minds that God is somehow missing the opportunities. We're looking at everyone else who seems to be passing us by. And we're saying to the Lord, Lord, hurry. Lord, please, let's pick up the pace, because if you don't hurry, going to miss this opportunity. Hurry results when we want something more than we want to please the Holy Spirit.
