Reading the Bible means nothing if you don't believe it. The devil doesn't fear your memorization, only genuine faith rooted in your heart. Ask the Holy Spirit to make Scripture alive in your spirit, not just your mind.
If you read the Bible today, that's awesome. But did it go into your spirit? Because if not, the enemy can steal it. Matthew 13:19 says, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. The devil isn't scared of you memorizing Scripture. He's terrified of you believing it. And belief comes when the Word moves from mind into your spirit, when it becomes revelation, not just information. The Word sitting in your intellect is exposed. It's vulnerable. The devil can confuse it, twist it, steal it. But the Word planted deep in your spirit, that can't be touched. If you're tired of forgetting what you read or struggling to apply it, stop trying to read with your mind alone. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual eyes. That's how the Word becomes alive. The enemy can attack your thoughts, but he can't touch what's rooted in your spirit.
