Before God activates your calling, Satan attacks your identity first. In the wilderness, Satan asked Jesus, "If you are the Son of God," sowing doubt before tempting him with power. Victory starts when you stop trying to prove God's word and trust what he declared about you.
Right before God uses you, the enemy won't attack your calling. He'll attack your confidence. The first words out of the devil's mouth in the wilderness were, if you are the Son of God. God had just called Jesus his beloved Son. But in the silence that followed, the enemy whispered doubt. That's how the enemy works. He attacks your identity before your assignment. Can you stand firm in what God says about you when you feel nothing, see nothing, hear nothing? Victory begins when you stop trying to prove what God already declared.
