In this brief sermon excerpt, the speaker declares that the Holy Spirit is the supreme evangelist for the gospel. He warns believers that ministry can easily slip into reliance on human-made techniques, systems, or programs, often unconsciously. The speaker emphasizes that true believers should not intentionally hinder the Spirit’s work and urges listeners to honestly evaluate themselves, asking the Holy Spirit to expose any unhealthy self‑reliance in their evangelistic efforts.

Chapters

The Holy Spirit is heaven's greatest evangelist. When it comes to the preaching of the gospel and evangelizing the lost, we must be careful to not rely upon techniques, systems, or programs. Ministry can become so familiar to us that we enter a place of human effort, often without even realizing it. In fact, almost everyone who is relying on human effort for ministry is doing so without knowing it. No true believer would intentionally stifle the work of the Spirit, so honestly evaluate yourself. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas of unhealthy self-reliance.
