The speaker argues there's only one anointing: the Holy Spirit's power working through you. Different gifts and tasks exist, but they all flow from that single source. Obedience unlocks what the anointing can do.
The anointing is the power of God working through a vessel to accomplish his purposes. There are not many anointings. Often you'll hear of Christians wanting to collect the anointings as if it's a coin collection or a stamp collection. They'll say things like, well, I want the healing anointing, or I want the prophetic anointing, or let me get some of that deliverance anointing. There are various different assignments that God will give to different believers. There are various different gifts that God will deposit in different believers, but regardless of what's been deposited in them, there's only one anointing. It is the power of the Holy Ghost. And when you get the power of the Holy Ghost, you get it all. As long as you're obedient to him, he's gonna use you in whatever capacity he wants you to be used.
