God created you to know Him and be known by Him, not to suffer addiction, depression, or spiritual darkness. Through Christ's sacrifice, believers receive abundant, eternal life and the purpose of loving God and receiving His love.
God did not create you to live in drug addiction. God did not create you to live in sexual perversion. God did not create you to live with a tormented mind. God did not create you to be depressed, to be anxious, to be confused. God did not create you to be lost in darkness. God created you to know him and be known by him, to love him and be loved by him. God created you for a purpose. When he formed you, you were created in his image. When he fashioned you, he gave Amen. When he died on that cross, he purchased for you life and life more abundantly.
