The secret place isn't a room you build but a state of mind where you notice the Holy Spirit inside you. Heaven and the kingdom exist within, and real ascension happens inwardly through faith guided by the Spirit.
The secret place, hear me now, isn't a prayer room. The secret place isn't a physical space. The secret place is a mindset. The secret place is awareness of and being sensitive to the presence of the Holy Spirit. I'm aware that He's with me. I'm sensitive and responsive to the work of the Spirit within me. That's what it means. And so we recognize that we don't have to ascend to some heavenly place, We recognize that rather, heaven is within us, the kingdom is within us, that ascension takes place inwardly. And as we look inwardly through the eyes of faith with the help of the Holy Spirit, we experience the fullness of that inner life, the divine life flowing through us.
