The enemy offers success and influence without sacrifice, but taking shortcuts compromises your worship and turns ministry into idolatry. True calling comes only through the cross and obedience to God, not through deals that demand you worship something else.
What if the enemy offered you success with no sacrifice? I'll give it all to you if you just bow. That's what the devil told Jesus in the wilderness. The enemy often offers the calling without the cross, influence without intimacy, power without obedience. Even ministry can become idolatry if powered by ambition. Real promotion doesn't come through compromise. Never accept what the enemy offers at the cost of your worship.
