Biblical angels fall into five main types: archangels like Michael who fight spiritual battles, seraphim with six wings that worship in Isaiah's temple, cherubim who guard God's presence with flaming swords, classic angels in human form delivering messages, and fallen angels who rebelled with Satan.
The biblical types of angels. Archangels, chief angels, high-ranking, mighty angels who wage war in the spirit. But for 21 days, the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. Seraphim. These winged beings have powerful voices and are often associated with the act of worship in the presence of God. In Isaiah, they are described as crying, Holy! Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having 6 wings. With 2 wings they covered their faces, with 2 they covered their feet, and with 2 they flew. They were calling out to each other, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven's Armies. The whole earth is filled with his glory. Their voices shook the temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke. Cherubim, Often described as having complex appearances, cherubim are understood to guard the way into the presence of God. We see this in the Book of Genesis. After sending them out, the Lord God stationed mighty cherubim to the east of the Garden of Eden, and he placed a flaming sword that flashed back and forth to guard the way to the Tree of Life. We see this symbolically in Exodus, as the images of cherubim were embroidered on the curtain in front of the Ark of God's presence. For the inside of the tabernacle, make a special curtain of finely woven linen. Decorate it with blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and with skillfully embroidered cherubim. Interestingly, the noise of the movement of their wings sounds similar to the voice of God. And the sound of the cherubim's wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh. Angels, or Classic angels. They often take on human likeness and deliver divine messages. They can appear so human-like that many have interacted with them unaware. Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it. Finally, fallen angels. These are the angelic beings that joined Satan's rebellion. This great dragon, the ancient serpent called the devil or Satan, The one deceiving the whole world was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.
