Don't fall for this lie. This lie has kept many in spiritual bondage, and I want you to be free. Let's look to the word, and then we'll expose the lie. Ephesians 2:8-9. For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It's a gift from God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Look, we all wanna please God. Every true believer wants to live holy. And please hear me clearly, sin has no place in the life of the true believer. Now that that's clear, let me expose this lie. Many Christians believe the lie that they work to earn their own salvation. We are saved when we believe. Yes, true salvation will produce good works, but good works can never produce true salvation. Live holy, but also trust in what Christ did on the cross.
