What many choose over God (even Christians)

In this sermon, the speaker emphasizes that God has assigned believers the purpose of expanding His kingdom through global evangelism and living lives that glorify Him. He warns that many Christians neglect these spiritual responsibilities, allowing worldly distractions—such as scrolling social media and binge‑watching streaming series—to crowd out essential spiritual disciplines like reading Scripture, prayer, worship, and service. While acknowledging that recreation is not inherently wrong, he stresses that when these activities dominate a believer’s life, they become a spiritual danger. The speaker frames his message as a compassionate wake‑up call, asking the Holy Spirit to bring correction and hope, and urging listeners to deliberately say “no” to worldly cares in order to say “yes” to the Spirit’s voice.
