A pastor tells people stuck in repeated sin that the Holy Spirit won't abandon them. He says divine patience outlasts human failure, and the Spirit stays faithful even when you keep stumbling, committed to helping you change.
The Holy Spirit is patient. Just when you think you're finished, just when you say, Lord, I've messed up too many times, I've tried this way too many times, I'm now on my 1,000th attempt or whatever it may be, and I just, I'm so frustrated with myself. I can't seem to do what I know is right and I can't stop doing what I know is wrong. Listen, you're not alone. You're not forsaken. You're not forgotten. You're not overlooked. You're not cast aside. He loves you too much to leave you in your compromise. The Holy Spirit is more patient than we are sinful. He's more persistent than we are stubborn, and he's gonna work with you. I'm not saying he excuses your sin. I am saying that he's that faithful friend. The Holy Spirit says, I'm not going anywhere. I'm gonna help you get this right.
