A sermon on how the Word of God can be stolen by the enemy if it's not received in the spirit. Knowing verses and history isn't enough. The Holy Spirit must mediate a deep, experiential reception that protects the Word from being used to kill and destroy.
If the Word isn't received in your spirit, it becomes vulnerable to demonic theft. The enemy can steal the revelation of the Word if it hasn't permeated the spirit. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they might have life and have it to the full. Now, notice that first the thief has to steal. Once he steals the Word, then he can kill and destroy. And so we have to go beyond just superficialities here. This has to go deeper than just, I know a couple Bible or I know a few things about the historical context, or I understand some of the application. This has to be received by the Holy Spirit.
