A man of God told David to spend 45 of his 60 prayer minutes in worship. Worship cuts the tethers that tie you to earthly concerns and frees your heart so prayer flows from the Spirit instead of staying grounded in what you worry about.
Now, a powerful man of God once told me, David, if you have an hour to pray, worship for 45 minutes. Now, he did not give that to me as a formula, as in I literally have to pray for 45 minutes. Rather, he was showing me something in terms of the power of worship. You go to worship and it does something for your prayer time. It gets you unstuck, helps you to move with the Spirit rather than getting grounded here in the earth. It's like when you go to pray, you have these tethers connecting you to the earthly, and when you begin to worship, you are cutting away at those tethers, and that frees you to go to higher places. Like, the Lord will take your heart in the spirit and lift it to a heavenly realm.
