A pastor argues that believers already have everything God wants for them: righteousness, healing, spiritual gifts, peace, and love. The catch is surrender. He says these blessings exist in the spirit now, but you have to let the Holy Spirit actually control your life, not just possess it.
Chapters
In the Spirit, you have and are everything God desires. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am a child of God. I am seated with him in heavenly places. I am healed. I am delivered. I am the royal priesthood. All of these things, that is who you are. You have all that he desires to give you. Spiritual gifts, boldness, holiness, clarity of mind, peace of mind, love for others, love for Jesus, love for the church. All of these things exist already within your spirit. You don't have to fight for that. You don't have to perform for that. Have to beg for that. You are a child of God. You've been united with him. So you don't need more love. You don't need more power. You don't need more grace. You don't need more gifts. You need more surrender. You see, you have the Holy Spirit, but does the Holy Spirit have you? That is, are you allowing him to have his influence?
