In this brief sermon, the speaker addresses the common desire to be closer to the Holy Spirit and declares that such a pursuit is unnecessary because the Holy Spirit already dwells within believers. Citing scripture that believers are united with the Lord as one spirit, the speaker emphasizes that believers are constantly in fellowship with the Holy Spirit in the spiritual realm. The core message is that spiritual maturity is already present internally; the task for believers is to allow the inner reality of the Holy Spirit’s presence to influence and transform every aspect of their outward life.

How do I get closer to the Holy Spirit? The good news, you can't. You can't get any closer to the Holy Spirit because he dwells in you. How can anyone get any closer than dwelling within you? The scripture tells us, he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him. That means that 24/7 in the spiritual realm, you are fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. In your spirit, you already know the fullness of spiritual maturity. Now it's just a matter of allowing what is happening in your spirit to influence everything about you.
