Your fire for God is not measured in your emotion. We often confuse emotion for fire. You hear people say all the time, oh, I lost my fire for God. Well, what do you mean by that? Do you mean that you lost the emotions connected to the right decisions? Because as we mature in faith, we're gonna rely less on feelings and more on the Word. We're gonna rely less on passion in the emotional area than we will on discipline. Your fire for God is measured in your obedience. So long as you are obeying, that's fire.
