When prayers seem to go unanswered and people you pray for get worse, not better, it feels like nothing is working. The speaker says your prayers are making a spiritual difference anyway. God is working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.
Whether you feel like it or not, whether it looks like it or not, your prayers are making a difference. I wish we could see in the supernatural in the same manner in which we see the natural realm, because if we could just peel back that layer and catch a glimpse, I know that you would see the words you're releasing doing something On the people that you're praying for. Maybe you're praying for a spouse, or maybe you're praying for a wayward child, or maybe you're praying for a coworker or a friend. You're praying, and the more you pray for them, it seems the more hostile they become to the gospel. Or you're praying for them and they seem to be getting worse, and you're thinking, should I stop praying for them? Is this me affecting them in that way? Doubt starts to creep in. Maybe it's doing no good, and you begin to doubt the potency of prayer. This is where you, as a believer, You have to learn to see through the eyes of faith even when you don't see it in the natural. Hope and faith. Hope knows that it can happen at some point. Faith pulls what is in the future and brings it into the now.
