When you open the Bible, you're receiving God's personal instructions. Many believers worldwide would die for that access, yet many leave their Bibles unopened. Start every reading with gratitude and dependence on God, letting the Holy Spirit illuminate what you're reading.
Do you realize the advantage that you have every single time that you open the Bible? You're receiving God's personal instructions for your life. That's favor. That's a privilege. Yet many squander this advantage by neglecting the Word. Around the world, believers weep with joy just to hold a Bible, while we often leave ours unopened. Don't waste what others would die to have. The Word of God's a treasure. And the Holy Spirit is eager to illuminate the Word of God for you. Start every reading with gratitude, with dependence, with surrender.
