Hey, everybody. I'm Nathan Thibodeau, coach with contractor Coach Pro. Now, if we're honest with ourselves, it doesn't matter whether we do roofing, siding, gutters, windows, decks, pest control, or security systems. We all tend to do things exactly the same way as it pertains to doing property inspections, giving proposals, and sales presentations. Well, today I'm going to give you two two really good tips and one massively good tip that'll allow you to differentiate yourself from your competition while also offering your customers something of extreme value for free. And then at the end of that, I'm actually going to give you a really special offer. So don't jump out too early. All right, let's get started with Mr. John Doe. Really? Come on. First step, guys. Encourage your prospect to do a walk around the property with you. This will do a couple of things. It'll allow you to establish more rapport with them. It'll communicate to them that you care about the things that they're interested and concerned about and not just selling your own product. And they might also just point out some things that they want worked on that you wouldn't have otherwise known. Okay, guys, tip two. Evidence, pictures and video. Make sure that you capture all of the things that you said you'd be looking for during your pro inspection using either pictures or video. Keep your device on as high a resolution setting as you can and make sure that you're aware of lighting and angles. And when it comes to video, make sure that you practice. It's kind of tricky to be able to run a steady video and narrate at the same time. Remember, for customers, seeing is believing.
And the more thorough you are in.
Your inspection, the more likely you are to catch something that nobody else saw, further setting you apart from your competition. Oh, man.
Okay, guys, time for our third and final tip and the most important one of all. We're going to take all the information that we gained while doing our property inspection, and we are going to build a property evaluation or property damage report. You can see I have an example of one here digitally on my tablet. I've got it branded with my company colors, my company information, and I even have a proprietary name for my report. I have the customer information, and then I have all the different trades that I do work on listed in different sections down below. In some cases, I even have drop downs that can help me with the different options based on the customer's property. At the very bottom, I have a place for additional information. We're going to take this completed detailed report and we're going to combine it with our pictures and our videos that we took while doing our pro inspection. Then we're going to get the customer's email address and we are going to send them this complete package. Now we have the customer's email address for further communication. We've got a prescope built for doing a proposal or a work order and we've provided the customer with a detailed professional game winning report and property evaluation with evidence and documentation. This is how we set ourselves apart from our competition.
Okay guys that's all we have for today. Thanks for taking your time to check out our video. Hope the information was useful to you and something that you can put into practice. Now for the special offer if you put your information in below we will send you a copy of our property damage valuation report that you can customize and make your own and put into effect immediately. We'll see you next time From Contractor Coach Pro.
