Hey, guys, it's Jim Johnson here, head coach at Contractor Coach Pro, and I want to share with you a little bit about what I do and what I teach some of our contractors to do to help them get better at really thinking is what it is. You got to find this place where you can get some time alone, where you're not distracted, you don't have other things going on. You can see out here. Today I'm in Colorado, mountains around, it's a little chilly outside, but I wanted to come out here and just kind of hang out in nature, get really quiet, spend some time with God, to be honest with you, and start listening to what's going on inside of this old cabeza up here. And sometimes with all the distractions that we have, we've got Facebook and Instagram and TikTok, TV, family, kids, life in general, sporting events, you name it. It's all just bearing down on us all the time. We barely have time to think. Our only thinking is what needs to be done next with the different disturbances that are coming on around us. But when you can go out and get along, close your eyes, spend some time just listening to what's going on inside your head. If you haven't learned how to meditate yet, spend some time, go learn about it. You can find all kinds of videos on YouTube about it, but really all it is is getting quiet, slowing down your breathing, and starting to listen to what's going on inside of that head of yours and what's going on inside of your heart. Really considering about what it is that you need to do to improve your day, to improve your life, to improve your business, your home life, whatever it may be, that's really weighing on your shoulders. So that's a little bit of advice for me today. If you feel like you're just running ragged and there's distractions everywhere, you don't have time to even think. Go take 15 minutes a day. That's all it takes, 15 minutes a day. Find a quiet place. Go the same place every day if you can, but if you can't and you're in a cool place like Colorado, there's all kinds of places to find there as well. It's 26 degrees out here right now, and I'm able to still spend 15 minutes getting quiet, thinking just a little bit about how we can help you guys as contractors a little bit better.
